The Diaper Champ Rocks By Jim Bushee My wife and I have 3 boys. With our first two we purchased the very popular Diaper Genie. The Diaper Genie was ok but, we knew there had to be something better. It was just such a pain having to buy specialty expensive bags for it and having to twist the thing with each diaper. After the stupid thing was filled I had to pull out a long snake like thing of diapers and cut it with scissors. The first two never worked right and I hated the thing. A few years went by without any more diapers. Then we had a new baby and went shopping for a new diaper pail. We knew we didn't want the Diaper Genie and decided to give the Diaper Champ a chance. The Diaper Champ was cheaper at $30 and we wanted to give it a shot. We were so glad that we did. I don't need to buy any specialty bags. It just uses our plain old kitchen trash bags. I don't need to cut the thing with scissors and retie it every time I empty it. Also when you toss a diaper in you just flip the lid and it seals it airtight. The Diaper Champ easily knocks out the Diaper Genie.
